In April, Trinity students take the Terra Nova 3 standardized test. The Terra Nova 3 test is given to more than 200,000 Catholic students nationally and Terra Nova/CTB (Terra Nova parent company) serve over 18 million students worldwide.
he Terra Nova 3 is a technically sound and up-to-date assessment program and provides the most recent national comparisons. Out of the three major national achievement tests available, the Terra Nova 3 is used by 42% of the schools testing in the United States, which is a definitive majority of the testing demographic.
2017 was the first year for Trinity and all schools within the Diocese of Little Rock to take the Terra Nova 3 test which was considerably different from the past Stanford 10 standardized test. Students not only had to complete the traditional multiple-choice bubble answers, but also fill in the blank/essay written responses. Students were tested in Reading, Language, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. Just like with the previous Stanford 10 test, Trinity students do very well on the Terra Nova 3 test!
We are very proud of the hard work that our students & teachers do daily to improve their academics. We hope that you will THINK TRINITY as you continue in your students’ education. Trinity provides the highest quality education in the Catholic tradition. As always THINK TRINITY!!!
