After 30 years of educating students in the River Valley, Trinity continues to be the best option for a quality education at the junior high level. In this season of graduation let’s take a deeper look at how Trinity students are faring when they move on to high school.
Let’s start by looking at the top graduates at Southside High School.
Students from Trinity are ranked #1, #3 & #4 in the Senior class. Trinity students make up less than 9% of the Senior class population at Southside, yet make up 18% of the top 5% of graduates.
Across town at Northside High,
both the #1 and #2 graduates in the Senior class are from Trinity. Trinity students make up less than 6% of the seniors at NHS, yet make up 29% of the top 5% of graduates.
Trinity Junior High students were the top graduates at both Northside and Southside. Trinity students make up
24% of the top 5% of graduates from the Fort Smith Public Schools while only making up
7.5% of the total graduating population. Furthermore, the
only National Merit Semifinalist in Fort Smith is a Trinity graduate.
Let’s not forget
Subiaco Academy, the highly-respected college prep high school for boys, where the
2nd and 4th highest graduates came from Trinity.
Although there is still a year until the next class graduates, we are hearing that again Trinity students will be in the top spots at all three schools.
We haven’t even begun to talk about the many leadership roles and extracurricular activities that Trinity students are excelling at in high school. But we will save that conversation for another day.
So, next time somebody asks you about the quality of academics at Trinity, share this little bit of information with them. We will let the facts speak for themselves.
