For Catholic Schools week, we are asking students to create a video of our school. All videos will be presented in 2nd period class January 30th and the winner will be announced on Wednesday.
Catholic Schools Week is getting close and we have a lot of people in Fort Smith that we would like to thank for their support in allowing us an opportunity to enjoy our Catholic education. We’re going to do that at all of the Masses at Christ the King, Immaculate Conception, Sacred Heart of Mary, and St. Boniface the weekend of February 4th and 5th. Ninth graders may come by Mrs. Marsh’s room and sign up to present a 90 second “Thank You” announcement – and it will even be written for you! We need English, Spanish, and Vietnamese speaking students to volunteer! Bonus points and/or service hours are available in appreciation for your time!
Students as part of our celebration of Catholic schools week we are going to give Trinity bookmark/prayer cards to all the local parishioners after each mass the weekend of February 4th and 5th. If you would like to volunteer to hand out the cards, please sign up in Mrs. Williams or Mrs. Bedell’s classrooms.
Tag Day is Friday!
Northside and Southside counselors will be here on Friday (Jan 20th) at 9:00am to meet with our 9th graders. The meeting usually lasts about an hour. Students going to Northside will meet in the library and students planning on attending Southside will go to the cafeteria. Students not planning on going to either will have a study hall in a place yet to be determined.
8th and 9th grade Girls and Boys basketball teams will be playing at Van Buren today beginning at 4pm.
We will have chicken and rice burritos Friday for $3 and nachos $2. Please order with Mrs. Giuliani
